Northwest to launch seasonal service to Lexington

June 5 is the launch date, and service is set to be seasonal, not year-round. Currently, there is no nonstop service in the market. When Northwest Airlink (the trade name of Northwest's regional airline service) does enter the route, it will be with just a single daily nonstop, a 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet. Northwest already flies from Lexington to a pair of other Northwest hubs: Detroit (DTW) and Memphis (MEM). The southbound flight will depart MSP at 1:10pm and get to Lexington at 4:07pm.

The northbound leg leaves LEX at 5pm and is scheduled to arrive at Minneapolis St Paul International Airport at 5:58pm. To get you to pay attention to the new route, Northwest is offering WorldPerks members 1,000 bonus frequent-flyer miles for taking a round-trip trip between the two cities. The deal runs June 5 through July 15. Cheapflights' Travel Tips Finding the best deal and having a successful trip should not be a matter of trial and error.
